All of our providers are medical doctors that have completed an accredited fellowship in Interventional Pain Management. Each is licensed to practice in the State of Florida and is a member of numerous professional organizations. They currently meet all Continuing Medical Education requirements of the American Board of Anesthesiology and Florida Medical Association.

Dr. Devang M. Padalia, M.D.
Dr. Padalia was born in Chattanooga, Tennessee and was raised in the Tallahassee area. He started his education at Florida State University where he graduated summa cum laude with a biochemistry degree. After college, he started his medical training and obtained a medical doctorate from the University of Florida. He then completed his Residency in Anesthesiology and Fellowship in Interventional Pain Medicine at the University of South Florida.
After completing his training, he decided to continue on as faculty for the University of South Florida. He currently works for the Department of Anesthesiology/Pain Medicine at Moffitt Cancer Center. Dr. Padalia is a Diplomate of the American Board of Anesthesiology and is board certified in Anesthesiology with subspecialty certification in Pain Medicine. He currently is a member of the American Medical Association, American Society of Regional Anesthesia and American Society of Anesthesiology.
Dr. Kazi Hassan, M.D
Kazi M. Hassan, M.D., is dual board certified in Anesthesiology and in
Interventional Pain Medicine by the American Board of Anesthesiology. He
completed his undergraduate studies at the University of New York at Buffalo
and received his medical degree from the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh.
Dr. Hassan completed his surgical internship at St. Francis Hospital, New
Jersey, followed with his Residency in anesthesiology at St. Joseph's
Hospital, New Jersey. He then completed his Fellowship in Interventional
Pain Medicine at St. Luke's Roosevelt Hospital, Columbia University College
of Physicians & Surgeons, New York.
Dr. Hassan briefly practiced both anesthesia and pain medicine in Clearwater, Florida,
prior to starting his own practice. He is currently the medical Director at Florida Pain
Management, and holds professional membership in the American Society of
Anesthesiologist, Florida Society of Anesthesiologist, and the American
Academy of Pain Management.
Dr. Sardha Perera, M.D.
Sardha M. Perera, M.D. is the associate Medical Director of Florida Pain
Management. He obtained his M.D. degree from the University of Ibadan,
Nigeria in 1986 and completed his Surgical fellowship at Albany Medical
Center Hospital, Albany, New York. He then completed his Interventional Pain Medicine
fellowship at the University of New Mexico HSC in Albuquerque. He
is currently an Anesthesiologist in the Royal
College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and holds Special Qualifications in Pain
Medicine. His profound interest in the field of pain management is reflected
in his commitment to Florida Pain Management. He remains devoted to
maintaining a truly interdisciplinary diagnostic and treatment facility
designed to help those suffering from acute and chronic pain.
Dr. Damon Vu, M.D.
Damon Vu, M.D., received his undergraduate education at Michigan State University and graduated with honors with a degree in Physiology. He attended medical school at Michigan State’s College of Human Medicine and went on to complete his residency in Anesthesiology at the University of South Florida. Afterwards, Dr. Vu completed a fellowship in Interventional Pain Medicine at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York City.
Dr. Vu is board certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology. His interest in the treatment of pain includes a multi-modal approach utilizing the latest technique available. He is a member of the American Society of Anesthesiology, American Society of Regional Anesthesia, American Academy of Pain Medicine, and the American Society of Interventional Pain Physician.
